H.C.A.C. Meeting Information - Monday, October 04, 2004

Meeting opened by President Donna Bowden.

Donna informed us that the deadline to turn in all T-shirt sponsorships would be Thursday, October 7, 2004 by 5:00pm. A HUGE thank you to all of the parents and swimmers who participated in gathering sponsors for our team, due to your hard work and team spirit the club has raised between $2700.00-$3000.00!! WOW!!! WAY TO GO!!

Donna also discussed the positions that will need to be filled for our home meet, which will be November 20, & 21, 2004. If you have not signed up please contact Donna ASAP!

Angie Mumford has volunteered to give our swimmers a new fashion look! She will be ordering new team swimsuits for all of our swimmers. You will receive additional information regarding sizing and cost at a later date.

Please check your boxes for your Calendar Order Form, the money that the team raises from the calendar sales (depending on how well we do) will off-set the cost of the new team swimsuits as well as pay for an Ice Cream Social for all of our swimmers and their families. The calendars are $6.00; the team receives a $3.00 profit for every calendar sold. All calendar order forms, money, and checks (made out to HCAC) need to be turned into the HCAC box at the pool by Monday, October 18, 2004. Remember depending on how well we do will help greatly to offset your portion of the new team swimsuits. So SELL, SELL, SELL!!!

Our next team meeting will be, Monday, November 1, 2004 at 5:00pm. We will be discussing details pertaining to our home meet. Please try to have at least one family member present. Our home meet on November 20th & 21st is our opportunity as parents to allow our team spirit to shine towards other teams as well as our own children!!
